"THE LAKE OF FIRE"

Why does Revelation 20:10 speak of the beast and the false prophet
as being "tormented day and night"? This is strictly symbolic (picture) language, and, of course, they are not people. The Greek word for torment means "going to the very bottom". In other words, they and Satan will have no hope of existing again.

Now, we know that hell isn't the same place as gehenna, for Revelation 20:14 states that hell and death will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, explained as Second Death.

The Second Death will be such a sad ending for anyone who refuses to obey God's righteous rules, for Revelation 21:1-7 explains how wonderful it will be then. It tells us there will be no more crying or pain -- not even death as we know it. For the curse that was originally put on Adam will then have been lifted from all mankind.

We have the privilege of gaining the prize of the High Calling in Christ Jesus, that Heavenly prize of reigning with Christ as his Bride upon his soon return to earth. (Phil. 3:14 & Rev. 19:7)
How can we do this? By answering God's call. If you are taking this course it really means God is calling you. We pray you'll answer God’s call now that you understand His plan for you and keep learning of HIM and His Son, Jesus Christ!

1 Corinthians 2:9-10

However, as it is written: "No eye has seen,
no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God
has prepared for those who love him"
but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things,
even the deep things of God.
